A hotel doesn’t have to have a Las Vegas Boulevard address for it to be glamorous. Trump International Hotel Las Vegas, which is situated just two blocks west of the busy Strip on Fashion Show Drive, offers an upscale, non-gaming retreat that’s a serene breath of fresh air (literally, you’ll find no casino smoke permeating the lobby here) compared to other Las Vegas hotels.

The 64-story, 24-karat gold and glass building is adorned with plenty of glitz — upon entering the 10,000-square-foot marble-clad lobby, you’ll see three Swarovski crystal chandeliers hanging overhead and plenty of luxe crown molding, and gold, white and cream hues.

The lobby also houses the clubby and masculine steakhouse DJT Restaurant and Bar, where grabbing a cocktail at the 18-seat bar during the wee hours of the morning is something of a Sin City tradition.

Our Inspector's Highlights

All rooms come with floor-to-ceiling windows highlighting mountain vistas and/or The Strip.
The Four-Star Spa at Trump Las Vegas has nine treatment rooms (try the 90-minute Balancing Emeralds Massage), a full hair and nail salon, and expert facials using Kate Somerville skincare products.
The niceties aren’t just for human guests, thanks to the Trump Pets program where canine concierge amenities range from a cozy dog bed and gourmet treats to a water bowl and custom collar.
Work on your tan at the outdoor heated pool with sundeck. It’s located on the seventh floor of the hotel, as well, so the views are tough to beat.
Trump's smartly dressed concierges are front and center in the lobby, and are ready and willing to help guests with whatever they may need — both inside and outside of the hotel.

Things to Know

Trump International Hotel Las Vegas has 1,282 hotel suites, which include studios, one-bedroom suites, and one- two- and three-bedroom penthouse suites.
When it’s time to bid adieu, the standard (and much-appreciated) 4 p.m. checkout time makes booking a room here worthwhile.
The hotel is both conveniently located and a bit more quiet than other big-name properties. It is situated on Fashion Show Drive just off of the Strip and within walking distance of popular casinos and mega-resorts.

The Rooms

Rooms have a bevy of luxe extras, including kitchenettes with Sub-Zero, Wolf and Bosch appliances, flat-screen televisions and in-room speakers that can play music from your personal device.
Luxurious bathrooms have marble countertops, large spa tubs and in-mirror plasma TVs.
Penthouse suites have excellent views of The Strip plus a master bedroom with two walk-in closets, a powder room off the foyer and a separate dining area.
All suites (except studios) have a living and dining room area complete with an overstuffed, comfortable couch and seating for four at the dining table.

The Restaurants

DJT Restaurant and Bar is an all-day dining eatery located off the lobby. Expect modern American cuisine like eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, black angus burgers, and roasted chicken with spicy broccolini.
There's a great, no-frills kids menu at DJT (PB&J served with apple chips, grilled cheese served with tomato soup). Those traveling without little ones should head to the lounge for a creative bespoke cocktail or two.
For casual meals, head out to the poolside restaurant, H2(EAU), for fruity cocktails and lighter bites like seafood salad and shrimp tacos.
