This landmark property, originally designed by legendary Miami architect Morris Lapidus, boasts an ideal location — at the foot of South Beach’s Lincoln Road Mall on the Atlantic Ocean.

Rooms that have been reinvigorated by famed designer Cristian Rubio feature warm interiors, views of the ocean and luxury touches like marble baths and feather-topped beds. The refreshed Ritz-Carlton spa is still the centerpiece of the resort.

The luxurious Miami hotel also features the only VIP Club Level Lounge in South Beach, an updated space with bespoke experiences, local cuisine and much more.

Our Inspector's Highlights

The South Beach hotel's lobby bar has some of the best people watching in town. Order up a plate of plantains and a glass of wine to watch Miami’s elite promenade in and out of the lobby.
The luxury hotel caters to children as equally as it does adults. While it’s not a full-on resort for kids, the hotel does offer amazing amenities including a $35 meal plan and an abundance of activities through the Ritz-Kids Club.
The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach boasts an impressive $2-million original art collection displayed throughout the hotel. It features established and emerging artists, many from the local Miami area.

Things to Know

The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach isn’t just another luxury hotel near the Art Deco district, it’s actually a complete restoration of a 1953 Morris Lapidus-designed hotel. In fact, today it’s a national landmark protected by the city.
By day, the lobby is bustling with comings-and-goings of tourists and hotel guests. By night, it turns into one of South Beach’s trendiest destination spots.
The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach does offer a house car that is available daily on a first-come, first-serve basis for South Beach drop offs. Be sure to check with the concierge for availability.

The Rooms

The 376 guestrooms and suites have 1950s-inspired crown molding, custom millwork and enhanced soundproofing.
Opt for a room with a view. While some rooms offer views of the surrounding cityscape, the best rooms feature ocean vistas.
Sumptuous marble bathrooms offer luxurious soaking tubs and separate stall showers.
If you need more space, the luxurious suites range in size from 800 square feet all the way up to the expansive 2,800-square-foot Ritz-Carlton Suite offering panoramic ocean views with a wraparound balcony.

Latin-flavored Fuego Y Mar is the exciting new culinary entry to the property.
Lapidus Bar features a marble bar, a gold chandelier and live music.
DiLido Beach Club hasn't changed much, which is great for those who've enjoyed the plush seating and picture-perfect views of the Atlantic Ocean in the past.
