Conrad Bali
A picture-perfect beach spot in Bali
VERIFIED LUXURY
We verify luxury. Our highly trained inspectors visit every property we rate, evaluating based on up to 900 objective criteria. Our hotel stays span a minimum of two nights.
We pay our own way. No one can buy a rating; all ratings are earned through our objective inspection process.
Our global team of inspectors are anonymous at all times, so they have the same experience as a typical guest.
While we inspect both service and facility, our Star Rating system emphasizes service because your experience goes beyond how your surroundings look — how your visit makes you feel is what you will remember most.
We started in 1958 as Mobil Travel Guide, and we created the original Five-Star rating system for hospitality.
Five-Star
These are outstanding, often iconic properties with virtually flawless service and amazing facilities.
Four-Star
These are exceptional properties, offering high levels of service and quality of facility to match.
Recommended
These are excellent properties with consistently good service and facilities.

As our highly trained, incognito inspectors work to assess properties, our editors check them out ahead of time and provide a sneak preview of what to expect.
Conrad Bali has a picture-perfect sandy beachfront as pure as Bali itself. And while it has all the trimmings of a luxury resort, this hotel defines itself with a warm, intimate feel.
Loyal guests return to the resort for more than just its stunning aesthetics — the friendly, personal attention staff members give to guests is a major draw. The grounds of Conrad Bali encompass nearly 17 acres of tropical gardens, lavish pools and plenty of activities to incorporate some genuine family or couple connection time.
Located on the Nusa Dua coast at Tanjung Benoa, you will not want for water activities or lazy days by the tranquil sea. The Bali hotel excels at handpicking authentic tours that offer you a connection with the local culture, whether it be a purification ceremony with a Hindu priest or a personalized art gallery tour linking you to the rich history of the island.

Our Inspector's Highlights
- Here you can experience water sports galore, including action-packed jet-ski rides and graceful paragliding.
- For a little serenity, head to the resort’s luxe indoor/outdoor spa for Balinese-inspired treatments.
- The luxury hotel’s southern area also has an impressive family zone with a hopping kid’s club. Bonus for those traveling with little ones: all kids under 12 eat for free at Conrad Bali, a policy that has been in place since the resort opened.
- High tea is served daily at the elegant, exclusive lounge and bar area and the tranquil pool is adults only.
- Conrad Suites have their own separate check-in area within Conrad Bali. Designed for couples and solo travelers seeking a childfree, adults-only haven, the suites are huge — in fact, you could host a small party in the spacious walk-in wardrobe.
Things to Know
- Keep in mind the most special experiences can also be the simplest — make some time for beach combing or making sandcastles on the 1,000-foot pristine beach.
- While there are four suite categories from which to choose, we recommend the Conrad Ocean Suites that feature a private bar and a generously sized balcony, fanning out to an endless sea view.
- If you’ve had enough beach time for one day, in-house resort options include two tennis courts, yoga classes daily and a well-equipped gym.
The Rooms
- Rooms come with views of the large lagoon-like swimming pool, vibrant gardens or facing the tranquil Indian Ocean.
- Some accommodations have direct access to the resort’s lagoon pool from a private walkout patio. Family suites are available as is a Grand Presidential Suite, which opens out onto a prime ocean view.
- The décor is plush and contemporary with a neutral color palette and authentic Indonesian accents. Standard amenities include a pillow menu, local newspapers, LCD flat-screen TVs and luxury linens.
- Marble bathrooms are luxurious with separate soaking tubs and night lights.
The Restaurants
- There are five restaurants to choose from at Conrad Bali, but the closest one to the beach is the steak-and-seafood-focused Eight Degrees South, which features ocean breezes flowing through the open doors and windows.
- Starters at the resort’s signature restaurant include dishes like the seared sea scallops served on an eggplant base with cucumber, avocado and a dash of flying fish red caviar.
- For the main course, expect options like grilled lobster from the North Bali seaside town of Lovina and Wagyu beef brisket served with truffle-scented spinach purée.
- Desserts are special, too, particularly the eight-hour slow-cooked apple pie with almond crumble that’s served with house-made Balinese vanilla ice cream.
- Other culinary options include a lovely Japanese restaurant Rin, an Asian buffet eatery, a poolside place for eats and drinks and a stylish lobby bar that looks out over the ocean.
